Christmas!!!

We went to Texas for Christmas this year and decided since we would now have to pay for a plane ticket for Addyson, we would drive! augh! About 10 minutes into our trip when she said she had to go potty, I was wondering what in the world we were thinking! However, we put a pull up on her and kept trucking. It was an interesting experience to travel 14 hours with a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 week old, but they were amazing and really did great! We had a blast visiting with family and friends. It was so great to reconnect with our friends and Addyson's friends! We also got to hang out with some of our teacher leaders and it was great to see them. I must say we know that God has brought us here and we are where he wants us to be, but it sure felt good to be back in Conroe for a visit! We were sure to eat at Vernons and have Shipleys donuts while we were there. Addyson had so much fun celebrating Christmas this year. This was the first year she really "got it" and it was a lot of fun to see her walk in the living room on Christmas morning and see all the gifts! Poor baby Riley just slept through it all--hahaha!
